The sales person that we worked with was great, but their service department is lacking and would not suggest holding your breath to get them to work on anything. They had power washed it before picking it up. Water got into one of the lights over the bed and flooded it. As a result the light shorted, the radio did not work, and the heat element in one chair was not working also. After a month of trying to get them to fix the problem, we ended up purchasing the items needed and fixed it ourselves. Butter wouldn’t melt in their mouth while they are selling you an item, and will bend over backwards to get you to purchase their products, but once that unit is off their lot, good luck getting any customer service afterwards. Sadly disappointed in the after treatment!More

TROUTDALE, Ore. — Crews contained a large fire at Camping World in Wood Village that caused westbound Interstate 84 to be closed near Troutdale Thursday evening.

TROUTDALE, Ore. — Crews contained a large fire at Camping World in Wood Village that caused westbound Interstate 84 to be closed near Troutdale Thursday evening.
Gresham fire officials said a propane tank exploded during the fire and engulfed three firefighters in flames. Other firefighters jumped on them to put out the fire and no one was seriously hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but the Gresham Fire Department told KGW’s Katherine Cook that the fire began outside a camper and the wind spread the flames to 10-15 other trailers. There were no injuries.
“Basically, a fireball engulfed those crews,” said Gresham Fire Battalion Chief Jason McGowan. “I don’t want to say they were on fire, but the crews around them kinda grabbed them and made sure they were okay.”
McGowan said after the men were checked out and said they felt fine, all three went back to work.
There was also a leaking gas line at the location, but Northwest Natural came out and shut it down.
The Oregon Department of Transportation reported that westbound I-84 was shut down for a two-mile stretch near Troutdale. The freeway was reopened after an hour.
Gresham and Portland fire departments responded to the fire.
