It is a well-known place for different water sports and fishing. You can witness a barge and tugboat with a historical background as the Moro Bay Ferry showcases them.

Downtown Riverside Rv Park

Right by the capital city, in North Little Rock, Arkansas is the Downtown Riverside RV Park. This park is very unique- as its tight in the downtown of the city!

This site is a secure, gated facility with room for 61 RVs. Theres 50-amp service, sewer and water hookups, free WiFi, a dump station, a pavilion, a clubhouse that has a washer and a dryer, restrooms, a boat ramp, and more. They allow up to 3 pets, but they must be on a leash and attended to at all times, and pit bulls are not allowed.

Downtown Riverside RV Park is open all year, is located close to a city, and has many available amenities.

There is a nice riverfront view of the city here, and due to its location, theres a ton to do even within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, shows, museums, sports games, a bike trail, and more.

This is certainly one of the most unique RV experiences one could get, and its great for someone who wants to explore the city while on their travels.

Open all year, rates here range from $25 to $33 a night, with discounts available for certain people and club members. They recommend reserving the nights, but if spots are available, drive-ups are welcome.

Camping Near Me: Gulpha Gorge Campground

Located in Hot Springs National Park, the Gulpha Gorge Campground offers 40 sites with full hookups, although both tents and RVs are welcome. A small creek runs through the property, and there are several walking trails leading to the historic town of Hot Springs, which is approximately two miles away. Every site is equipped with a fire ring, but if you’re camping with a larger group, you can get a permit to have a fire in the fire pit at the Campground Amphitheater. All sites are available on a first-come first-served basis, and camping fees must be paid with credit or debit rather than cash.

    Mount Nebo is a great spot for those with small RVs , truck campers, tents, and anyone who wants to rent a cabin. Its nestled in the west of Arkansas, just north of the Ouachita Mountains.

    There are 14 miles of hiking and biking trails at Mount Nebo State Park. Cabins and campsites offer views of the river valley from the bluff. In addition to cabin rentals, campers will find 24 sites for Class B RVs and 10 hike-in tent sites.

    This campsite also offers a swimming pool, picnic benches and pavilions, and a visitors center. P

    Please be aware that the road here is one way, has multiple switchbacks, and includes at least one 18% grade. Do NOT attempt to get to this campground in the dark.

    White Rock Mountain Recreation Area Near Mulberry

    The White Rock Mountain Recreation Area is a forest service campground in the Ozark Mountains of Northern Arkansas.

    This camp area offers 9 primitive campsites that are open year-round. Two of these campsites can accomodate small RVs/Pop Up Campers. The rest of the campsites are tent only.

    There is drinking water and vault toilet available. There is also a General Store with information, snacks, firewood, cold drinks, ice-cream and a few other camping essentials.

    Free Camping At Army Corps Of Engineers Sites In Arkansas

    In the southwestern corner of the state, near Lake Greeson, the Army Corp of Engineers has provided five free camping areas to those interested in aquatic endeavors and outdoor life. Unlike most COE campgrounds, these spots don’t have water and electric immediately at your site , but they are completely free. Laurel Creek is just one example of a place you can find well-manicured, free camping in this area.

    The sites mentioned above near Lake Ouachita are also technically COE sites, as well. River Ridge is yet another free set of campsites provided by the Army Corp of Engineers, along the Arkansas River. Further east, near I-55 and cozying up to the banks of Enid Lake, Long Branch is another option.

    Beyond these areas, county parks and Walmart parking lots, casinos and Cracker Barrels provide free camping, any of which is easy to find with Campendium. There’s even a state parkHobbs State Park by namethat provides free camping, as long as you’re in a tent.
