Camping At Circuits Of The Americas

First time for us at a Formula One race. We camped in an rv right at the track. Some great views from some sites but parking on a hill can be challenging to get level. We opted to set up at the top of the hill with no view but certainly flat. Signage for camping is poor and difficult to see. The track was amazing and yes there were a lot of food vendors but line ups are long! VERY LONG! We were able to see the pink concert on site as it was included in our ticket price. Lots of walking. There are shuttles but they are SLOW but free of charge, There are also bicycle rickshaws that you can hire for a price of $ 10 plus tip which we did use and was great! Overall a great time at circuits of the Americas!!

We’ve been to this track before to see Moto GP so we know it’s a great place racing. We had great seats by the start/finish line. The TV monitors allowed us to see the entire race and we enjoyed the commentators. But our experience getting to the track and back was a nightmare. Race organizers need to come up with a better solution. Traffic control was terrible. It took us literally an hour just to exit the parking lot, and then another 90 minutes to make our way back into town. Unless things change, I’m staying home and watching the race on TV.

I recommend you camp right at the track, you can’t beat the experience! be sure to book early for the Formula 1 race!
