Camping World Adding Wentzville Store

A new Camping World SuperCenter will open in Wentzville next year.
The RV and outdoor goods retail chain said the Wentzville store will open in the second quarter of 2015. A spokeswoman said the chain is not yet disclosing the address of the store.
Lincolnshire, Ill.-based Camping World and Good Sam, an affiliated RV owners organization, also are adding several new Camping World stores in other states next year, bringing the chain’s store count to nearly 120.
“As part of our growth strategy, the brand is making major investments in the quality of its dealer network,” Marcus Lemonis, CEO and chairman of Camping World and Good Sam, said in a statement. “From facility upgrades to new store openings, the company’s network will continue to expand and evolve while serving as our customers’ one-stop location for everything outdoor and RV.”

Camping World of St. Louis is located at 2200 E. Pitman Avenue, exit 212 off Interstate 70, in Wentzville. The facility includes a Camping World retail store on-site, which proudly features over 10,000 RV and camping products and accessories.

The series premier classes are Top Fuel Dragster and Funny Car, with nitromethane-burning 12,000-horsepower engines that rocket the cars from zero to more than 330 miles per hour in less than four seconds. Fridays high-speed action includes a nighttime qualifying session, when the white-hot exhaust flames will light up the dark, and concludes with a concert by country music artist Tim Dugger and fireworks.
On Saturday and Sunday, the stakes are even higher. The Midwest Nationals are the third event in the 2022 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship, and the point battles will be fierce in all four professional categories.

NASCAR officials today announced the 2022 schedule for the Camping World Truck Series and World Wide Technology Raceway, as rumored, will host a doubleheader on the weekend of June 4-5. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Toyota 200 presented by CK Power will open the weekend on June 4 as a lead-in to WWTRs inaugural NASCAR Cup Series race on June 5. Starting times and television assignments will be announced later.
WWTRs Camping World Truck Series races have established many young drivers as prime talent, ready for the sports premier class. Victories on WWTRs challenging 1.25-mile oval with two different sets of turns have helped propel Darrell Bubba Wallace Jr., Cole Custer, Christopher Bell and Ross Chastain to rides in the NASCAR Cup Series. Sheldon Creeds win at WWTR in 2020 helped cement the series championship.
Our NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race has been a staple on our schedule since 2014 and has always produced incredible racing action, said WWTR owner and CEO Curtis Francois. Combining the Truck Series and the NASCAR Cup Series on the same weekend was the perfect complement to our schedule.
