Lake Livingston State Park
The Lake Livingston State Park is located at 300 Park Rd 65. It is a beautiful area with alot of activites for everyone.
The park covers 635.5 acres along Lake Livingston. It offers campgrounds, screened shelters, boat ramps, a marina, horsback riding, picnic area, and a swimming pool. There are fees associated with park entrance and camping. For information on current fees see the Lake Livingston State Park link. You can make reservations online.
The campsites offer sites with water, electricty and water, or electricity, water and sewer. You will also find restrooms with shower facilities. Many of the sites are right on the water, or within close walking distance. There is also a trailer dump facility right in the park.
There are 10 screened shelters that you can stay in. Reservations are required for the screened shelters. The shelters have an inside picnic table, and an upstairs bunk area for sleeping.
The park has great fishing. You can expect to catch crappie, perch, catfish, and bass. You can catch fish right from the shore, or in a boat. The marina is open from March Oct. The marina has bait just in case you run out. There are fish cleaning stations located in the park, so you can take care of your daily catch.

Lake Livingston State Park Overview
Lake Livingston State Park Campground has 147 single family campsites and is located next to one of the largest lakes in the state. There are 59 sites with water and electricity, 56 with full hookups. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, trash collection and a dump station. Theres also a boat ramp, canoe & kayak rentals, marina, camp store, swimming pool and visitor center. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreation including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area.
Camping At Lake Livingston State Park
The Piney Shores, Pin Oak, Red Oak, and Yaupon Loops all have full-hookup campsites. No matter where you park your RV rental for the night, youll have access to water, sewer, and 50-amp hookups. Twenty and 30-amp hookups are available at the Piney Shore Loop campsites. You can choose from a total of 78 full-hookup campsites and an additional 69 campsites with electricity in the Hercules Club and Pin Oak Loops.
Restrooms and showers are among the amenities available at the full-hookup campsites. Additionally, campers can make use of the fire ring with grill and lantern posts while watching the night sky reflect on the lake. Pets are welcome at the campsites but must remain on a leash.
If you plan on camping at Lake Livingston State Park over the weekend, you can reserve a campsite. However, to reserve a campsite for a Friday or Saturday, you must stay both nights.
