Your Ocoee Tent Camping Experience Doesnt Have to Mean Roughing It.

If you want to sleep over, we have 27 platform tents for roughing it the easy way. Each tent sleeps four people on comfy 4-inch thick foam sleeping pads. Just add a sleeping bag and youre ready to crash for $32 per tent per night. The tent camps are conveniently located near our outpost with store, restrooms and hot showers. Need a place to gather your group? Two large pavilions near the camping areas with grills, electricity and water can accommodate your gathering.

Skin protection is usually neglected during hikes and camping trips. There are so many important and exciting things happening during the planning of a camping trip that skincare often gets overlooked. When you are at higher altitudes the air is drier and the sun is closer, so you are much more likely to get sunburnt. Along with burning, your skin is likely to get very dry due to the lack of moisture on the top of a mountain. It is so important to pack and properly apply sunscreen and lotion when hiking and camping.

Camping in the mountains is a blast, but safety is very important during camping trips. It is always better to pack too much rather than too little in order to be properly prepared, even if it weighs down your backpack! I just spent two days at Mountain and River Adventure and will definitely be back. The atmosphere was exactly what I wanted-relaxing, quiet evenings by the fire pit & the river during the night. Truly enjoyed the calming sounds of the river at the end of the evening.. Everyone at MRA was incredibly respectful and helpful. The bathrooms and the camp site were spotless. I would like to tip my hat off to John for an AMAZING experiences at the camp site, mountain biking and rafting. This was my first white water rafting, I would like to give a shout out to my raft guide Caleb, he was outstanding with the safety protocols and making me feel comfortable and safe during my time on the river. I’m already looking forward to our next trip up to MRA. A great place to unplug and escape from the concert jungle

Each Mountain View campsite has a private fire pit and picnic table. If you are planning on cooking your meals, please remember to bring fire grates, grills, or camp stoves. The Mountain View campsites are a short walk to the restroom and shower facilities. Potable water spigots are located in common areas and in select sites throughout the campground.
