We made our annual trek to Texas for the Nascar race weekend, we always camp at their dry camp facility. Its always very clean with great port o potty available everywhere. Every one camping is there for the same reason, to have fun, meet new people and watch the racing. If youre looking for a new adventure try camping at the speedway, you will love it. If you forget something there is a buckys gas station/super store just south of the track.

Came with some friends and camped outside of the track to the east. I really like the track and how easy it is to get to seats/concessions and the midway but the distance from the camp grounds to the main entrance is pretty far. They have “tips for Rides” golf carts but they’re not readily available and when it came down to getting alot of people to the track… worked okay. The showers for campers were good, porta pootys were there but they don’t empty them .
Didn’t know what to expect for my first trip to TMS. Having heard the horror stories about parking, etc. We parked in the Express Parking and was able to get in and out very easily. Lots of food and drink concessions, something for everyone. Plus you can take your own cooler and food. Everything except the cold north winds were enjoyed.

Unreserved Camping At The Speedway
At the west side of the speedway are 1,700 campsites made available during large races. The line forms at the first gate north of Petty Place on Victory Circle. Be sure to check the Texas Motor Speedway website for staging times and when the gates to the campground will open. The self-contained campsites measure approximately 20 by 40 feet.

- All guests report directly to Lot 1 for registration during hours of operation.

Infield Camping Returns To Texas Motor Speedway
After a year of staying indoors, Texas Motor Speedway is proud to announce the return of infield camping for the upcoming NTT INDYCAR SERIES doubleheader and NASCAR All-Star Race weekends as part of the 25th Season of Speed celebrations at No Limits, Texas.
RVs and fifth wheels will once again pull through the speedways south tunnel to park and set up in the Geico Infield Campground on the east side of Allison Avenue. The outdoor adventure begins with the May 1 Genesys 300 and May 2 XPEL 375 NTT INDYCAR SERIES doubleheader and continues through the June 12-13 NASCAR All-Star weekend.
We couldnt be happier to welcome our great race fans back to the Geico Infield Campground for two amazing weekends of the best auto racing in the world during our 25th Season of Speed, said Texas Motor Speedway President and General Manager Eddie Gossage. Infield camping at Texas Motor Speedway is an experience unto itself so weve missed the race fans being in the infield as much as theyve missed being here.
The following protocols will be implemented for the safety and security of Texas Motor Speedway patrons:
Texas Motor Speedway opens its 2021 major event season May 1-2 with an NTT INDYCAR SERIES doubleheader. The Genesys 300 will air live May 1 on NBCSN beginning at 6 p.m. CT while the XPEL 375 will air live May 2 on NBCSN beginning at 4 p.m. CT.

Tenting: No. They only offer dry camping sites, so no bathroom or showers facilities at all.
Motorhomes: Yes. They only offer RV camping sites at this time and do offer sewage, electrical and water hookups.
Dry Camping: Yes. Two of the three lots are dry.

Overall Impressions:
New Hampshire Motor Speedway offers three different RV sites. They dont offer tenting at this time. All of the RV sites require the unit to be self-contained, however the most expensive option has water, sewage and electrical hookups.
- The $899 for the weekend gives 2 armband passes and two pit passes for the weekend. The RV parking is right outside turn four.
- The other two sites offer dry camping only. The medium package is priced at $249 for the weekend and gives two armbands and 2 pit passes for the weekend.
- The cheapest lots only include a dry camping spot with no armbands and no pit passes. They do allow you to pick between 30-foot lots and 40-foot lots for different prices.
The pit passes are a unique addition for a decent price if youre able to dry camp. The more expensive lots are pretty pricey for the weekend, but they do offer the pit pass which is a decent incentive.
All in all, New Hampshire is only good for RV camping with no facilities for tents or tent trailers. They get 9th because they are fairly cheap and include the armbands and pit passes.

The Texas Motor Speedway offers several areas in which to park your RV for the weekend. Burnout Alley is the premium area located above the backstretch with 30-by-60-foot sites and full hookups. Burnout Alley includes complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, concierge service and 10 VIP passes for all the races. Reserved infield camping is available in the center infield of the track. The Coach-Net VIP camping is near the grandstands, and includes showers and restrooms. These sites are self-contained camping only and sell out fast each year. The Family Campground is on the east side of the Victory Circle camping area and is designed for families, with a noise curfew and zero tolerance for disruptive behavior.
