Camping World Kickoff Delivers Espns Top

Floridas thrilling 24-20 victory over Miami in Saturday nights Camping World Kickoff delivered an impressive 4.1 overnight rating on ESPN, making it the networks highest-rated college football game in nearly three years, the network announced in a release Sunday.

The in-state rivalry game peaked with a 4.9 rating during the Hurricanes final drive, capping off a full day of action that began with a special Week 0 edition of College GameDay Built by the Home Depot from Disneys Magic Kingdom.

Saturday was an ideal way to begin the in-season CFB150 celebration, ESPN Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions Nick Dawson said of the networks programming, which also included an FCS kickoff between Samford and Youngstown State. This signature day was the result of a shared vision amongst many, including Florida, Miami, Youngstown State, and Samford. We now look forward to our five-day Kickoff Week slate and the entire CFB150 season.

Overall, Florida markets accounted for six of the top eight nationally during the Camping World Kickoff, however, it was Birmingham, Ala., that took the top spot overall with a massive 18.7 overnight draw.

Camping World To Close Former Gander Mountain Retail Stores By End Of January

Gander RV will continue as a retail brand under the Camping World portfolio, but many former Gander Mountain outdoor lifestyle locations will close by the end of this month.

The owner of Camping World, who once warned West Marine that he was coming to get you, plans to complete the closure of 27 former outdoor retail stores by the end of January as part of a strategy to focus only on the companys recreational vehicle retail outlets.

Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis, also a television personality on the television show Shark Tank, had acquired the retail stores of Gander Outlet and smaller retail chains in 2017 to pursue an outdoor retail-store strategy that would partially compete with West Marine and Bass Pro Shops.

The company announced in September that it would strategically shift away from stores that cannot sell and service RVs. Camping World reiterated that policy in its , saying it planned to close 32 outdoor lifestyle locations by the end of January. It said the restructuring costs would be about $56 million.

Camping World spent around $100 million buying outdoor retailers in 2017 and 2018. But in the first half of 2019, it sold off many of those assets as the RV business slowed down.

Palm Beach RV Park is a locally owned and operated business offering a professionally managed, quality experience, at a reasonable price and with on-site management. Our sites are tree-shaded, spacious, and flat, many with a concrete base suitable for RVs. There is a clean, on- site laundry facility. We do not have a swimming pool, public bathroom/shower facilities or a picnic area.

Rates include City water and sewage at each site, plus shared Wi-Fi. 50 AMP electrical service is available at all sites but is not included in the rental – personal electric accounts must be established with Florida Power & Light.
