Camping World To Open At Holiday Kamper

RV aftermarket accessories store chain Camping World will open a new store at the Holiday Kamper dealership location in Spartanburg, S.C., next month.The opening of the new Camping World store will make the Holiday Kamper location in Spartanburg a one-stop outlet for RV sales and service, according to Camping World, which currently operates 32 stores across the country, including several in partnership with major RV dealers.A grand opening for the store is scheduled for Sept. 18-21.Holiday Kamper is a six-location RV and boat dealership company with locations in North and South Carolina.The Camping World store in Spartanburg also will handle all RV service operations, including pre-delivery inspection, warranty work, general maintenance and installation of products and accessories.The Spartanburg location is being remodeled to create a 12,000-square-foot showroom for Camping Worlds RV accessories and supplies.Camping World President Mark Boggess explained the importance of opening a new store to his company and dealers.Dealerships benefit from increased traffic flow generated by Camping World while Camping World benefits through added exposure and additional points of distribution for our products and services, Boggess said.Camping World is a unit of Affinity Group Inc., as is TL Enterprises Inc., publisher of RV Business and RVBUSINESS.COM.

SPARTANBURG, S.C.
Camping World raised a giant American flag along I-26 in Spartanburg County to honor servicemen and servicewomen.
The flag, which measures 40 feet by 80 feet, went up on pole 130 feet high Wednesday morning.
Members of the American Legion Post 28 participated in the ceremony at Camping Worlds Spartanburg location.
“It’s a great feeling just to know that they honor our veterans and know where there and know we’re there to help our veterans, said American Legion Commander Carroll Owings.
Camping World, the nations largest RV and outdoor retailer, has massive American flags flying at more than 35 of its Super Centers across the country. Other locations in Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Virginia, New Jersey, North Carolina and South Carolina will get the flags throughout the year.
