“Fairly good camping experience. Trails were nice and well marked. Multiple waterfalls that can be heard from the trails before you see them. Campsites were well maintained and cleaned. Fire pits and picnic tables are installed behind the camper parking which was nice. The sites are very tight though, we weren’t able to open our canopy, and had to park the truck at an angle to stay off the roadway. All in all a nice place to stay.”

Rock Island / Quad Cities KOA Campground check in times for RV and Tent sites is 2pm, Cabin sites are 3pm. Check out time for all sites is 11:00am. Anyone arriving before the check in time may be charged a $10 early check in fee. Base rate for all sites are for 2 adults ages 16 or older and 4 children age 15 and under . Fees for extra person do not apply from mid September through mid May. A $10 fee is implemented per extra vehicle. All visitors outside of the campground visiting a camper are subject to a $6 per person fee. There are no refunds for early departure.

This little campground is nestled in Rock Island State Park. There are two campgrounds, this one is specifically tents only. Each campsite is pull in and provides you with enough room to set up two tents. In addition each campsite has a four sided picnic bench, fire pit, trash can, charcoal grill, electrical hookup, and well water. At the front entrance of the camp there is a bath house with showers, toilets and sinks.

The park itself has a beach area with an amazing rock wall, Twin Falls , another lookout to two other waterfalls and the river gorge, and much much more.
