Located on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington, this park is the place for sunsets. This family-owned RV park has 60 full hookup sites for big rigs and premium sites right next to the beach. The park also has forested sites if you need a little shade. Andersens is pet-friendly and even has an outdoor hot shower for washing sand off the pooch.

Fox Fire Riverside Campground

In the tiny town of Hartford, Tennessee there is a cluster of campgrounds along the Pigeon River. People come here for adventure its one of the best rivers for whitewater rafting in Tennessee.

Many come to raft or kayak the Pigeon River and some come to zipline or hike in the area. No matter what youre here for, the perfect place to stay is at Fox Fire Riverside Campground.

This campground has primitive tent sites as well as RV sites with water and electric hookups. They even have cottages and cabins if you want a more upscale vacation.

We spent a weekend at one of their riverside tent sites and it could not have been a more beautiful place.

Our site was right along the river and there are plenty of shady trees where you can hang up a hammock .

Their amenities are great too as they have a clean bathhouse, picnic shelters, and each tent site has a picnic table and fire pit. Plus they sell firewood.

If youre looking for an adventurous weekend getaway then this is the place for you!

Arkansas: Wanderlust Rv Park Eureka Springs

Just a few miles east of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a Victorian town with more than one million tourists each year, Wanderlust RV Park is a 46-acre property set on a scenic ridge, overlooking a deep valley, perfect for viewing sunsets. Filled with trees, flowers, and shrubbery, the park often attracts deer, birds, and other wildlife. Theres a tourist trolley to take visitors into town and costs at its 85 full hook-up sites range from $34.88 to $59.95 per night.

Fort De Soto County Park

Fort De Soto County Park is a 238-site family camping area with facilities including picnic tables, grills, water, electricity, washers, dryers, sanitary disposal stations, modern restrooms, showers, play areas, and a camp store. There are also special campsites for camping with pets.

Theres hardly an award this Park hasnt won. Dr. Beach chose it as the number one beach in the nation in 2005, in 2011 it was named Americas best family beach by the editors of Parents, and TripAdvisor named it Americas Top Beach in 2009.

Its beautiful campground is also noteworthy. Many of its campsites are situated on the calm backwater, with the beach just a short drive or paddle away. Mature trees provide thick shade over most of the campsites, and the breeze coming off the water is heavenly.

Both tents and RVs are accommodated and the sites have electricity and water. The Park also offers bike and kayak rentals, two fishing piers and a historical fort.

Beverly Beach State Park Oregon

There are actually two Beverly Beaches on this list. The first is located in Oregon. If you dont mind a little more wind and fog than Florida, then this is your RV park.

Myrtle Beach State Park is close to all of the wild and crazy entertainment and dining options that the region offers, but it is far enough away to provide a quiet retreat. The beaches here are pristine and just steps away from the shady RV sites in the campground. Fishing from the pier is great, and it is a beautiful spot for photography at sunrise or sunset.

Delaware: Lums Pond State Park Bear

Stay a night or two at Lums Pond, a 200-acre freshwater pond, where visitors can fish, hike, horseback ride, disc golf, boat, or try the Go Ape! Treetop Adventure Course filled with obstacles, climbs, and zip lines. On site, youll find concessions, a picnic area, showers, a playground, and a boat launch area. Costs are between $25 and $45 for both water and electric and pull-through sites, depending on the season.

Fishermens Memorial State Park Campground

Fishermens Memorial State Park Campground in Narragansett is not on the ocean but it has water access on Bluff Hill Cove. It has 147 large and shady campsites with full hookups. The campground has bike trails, a playground available for kids, and a variety of activities in the permit office.

The campground is located right down the street from the Block Island Ferry and also very close to the very popular Roger W. Wheeler and Scarborough State Beaches. Every Sunday there is a farmers market and it is excellent. And right down the street, there is a farm that sells local beef. Stop there for some awesome steaks to grill.

Boyds is near the top of the of the Best Florida RV Beach Campgrounds for many reasons. Its been around for decades and there is an awesome ambiance there, as well as the proximity of the water. Some sites back right up on it.

Other amenities include potable water, flush toilets and showers, firewood, laundry, a pool, WiFi, cable TV and a dump station. Since this one is located along the marina, there is ample opportunity for boating and even kayaking among the mangroves. Their 171 sites all have full hookups, and there are picnic tables, potable water, flush toilets and showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, cable TV, a pool and a dump station. Nightly rates run at least $85-$130, depending on how close you are to the water.

This provincial park bears the name of Prince Edward Island’s first European visitor, Jacques Cartier, who remarked that the island was “the fairest land ’tis possible to see.” Today, that still holds true within this provincial park, which should not be confused with the provincial park of the same name located in Quebec. The campground in this beautiful Prince Edward Island Park is located just off of Highway 12 and down Jacques Cartier Road that runs through the area. Campsites are located right down by the water, many having ocean views while still sitting on soft, manicured grass with shrubbery in between each site for privacy. Though the campground is small, it does have comfort stations with flush toilets, hot showers and laundry facilities. Within the park there are a few short trails showcasing the areas, but the primary activity here is enjoying the sun, the sand and the sea at the beach.

California: Wine Country Rv Resort Paso Robles

Located in San Luis Obispo Countys Paso Robles wine region, the Wine Country RV Resort has an on-site wine garden where they regularly host events, and its just a short drive from Hearst Castle and several hot springs. Bowdish Lake Camping Area

This ones a family friendly little camp ground with lot of fun water-side activities to do. Keep in mind that these sort of RV parks usually charge more for lake side camping spots than others, and Bowdish is no different.

Another thing to note is that they dont accept trailers more than 35 ft long, so if you own a larger motorhome, sorry!

They have water, electricity and cable hookups and 5 dumping stations on the property. And if you dont insist on a waterfront spot, the fees is pretty CHEAP!

Expect to Pay: $20 per day for a camping spot in the woods, $70 per day for a lakefront spot

Beverly Beach Camptown RV Resort has 1,500 feet of Atlantic shoreline at your doorstep, with 100 beachside RV sites with 59 perched on a seawall that offers stunning ocean views day and night. In addition, the park has a second RV parking section across A1A.

The park is well-kept, but the palm trees amongst the campsites do not provide much shade, so your RV awning will come in handy. There are several convenient walkways with stairs down to the main beach, where you can spend the day beachcombing, swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing.

The major Florida towns of St. Augustine and Daytona are respectively about 30 miles north and south of the park and offer plenty of options for day excursions. Still, you should also stay local and check out the Flagler Beachfront Winery, Flagler Beach Historical Museum, and do some shopping at Jose Gaspar or the Flagler Beach Gift Shop that offer wonderful pieces to remember your trip.

SPECIAL NOTE: This RV park is very popular during Race Week and holidays when prices are highest, and a three-day minimum stay is required. For the lowest cost and crowds, visit during September or October.
