Intro To Camping World/good Sam Ambassador Program
Camping World/Good Sam Ambassadors serve as Camping Worlds #1 contact with our customers in campgrounds, at RV shows and RV rallies. Ambassadors distribute Camping World flyers and promotional materials to local campgrounds during a 5-day time period each month.
They develop friendly relationships and build good rapport with both campground management and RVers. Ambassadors sometimes sponsor events held at local campgrounds.
At local rallies and RV trade shows, the Ambassadors set up a booth and distribute flyers, catalogs and other Camping World promotional materials.
Ambassadors assignments are seasonally-based, with seasons varying between 5 to 6 months. Most Ambassadors cover one store during the summer months and another store in the winter months.
Ambassadors are considered Camping World Independent Contractors. As such, they are reimbursed for mileage, campground fees and other Ambassador-related expenses. In addition, they are paid a modest monthly stipend. Ambassadors also enjoy free memberships in the Good Sam Club and Roadside Assistance, plus they receive merchandise discounts.
A friendly, outgoing personality is very much welcomed! This program is fun and a great way to meet many other people involved in RVing.

So We Purchased A Brand New 2022
So we purchased a brand new 2022 keystone Springdale 280 BH at the end of May. We took it out once only to find out we couldnt hook up the water because of the leaks. We called them they couldnt get it in till July 1 but after a few phone calls from me they were able to get it in last week was it on 17 June. So theyve had it for a week and are waiting on warranty department to get back to them. The girl was kind enough to send out an email to see if she could get an update on the status. Waiting to hear back from her. I tell you its great spending over $30,000 and not being able to use it thats sarcasm if you didnt understand. Broken when we bought it and theyre waiting on the warranty department in my opinion fail at customer service

Horrible I Dont Even Want An Rv Anymore
Really I’m giving them a 0 for Oakwood GA dealership. Our story of their BS tactics are long and I am wore out from them. They lied every step of the way and THANK GOD I did not give them any money! Run far away from this place. Its a game from your first inquiry call to your first visit, then between sales and finance is one long ass game of lies. They say 1 thing and then come in with different game after you have sat there for 3 hours. They dont have a GM, they just tell you they are the GM… each of them taking turns. Awful…. we have excellent credit and after their games I don’t even want an RV anymore! Horrible! What a let down and turn off they are!

We bought a 16′ Coleman RV. We knew nothing except tent camping. Jim Graham of Camping World in Katy ,Texas was a life-saver. He was patient and not condescending. We are 2 older women, and scared, but he was a God-send. He even called the day after we got it because we went straight to a campground . When he found out we couldn’t get it level, turn hot water on, or even get jacks down, that day, he came out and fixed everything and showed us how to do it. He never made us feel bad . We even consider him a FRIEND now. Thank you Camping World. We stayed 4 days and are ready to go again. If it wasn’t for Jim Graham, it would not have been such a great experience.

Stay away from effing Camping World Avondale!! Take your money and go somewhere else. The sales side is great but the service department is effing horrible. I will make sure I tell everyone to stay away from Camping World Avondale. Im paying for an RV that I cant use because they now longer have my recall part in stock and they even scheduled me an appointment 2 weeks prior. They made sure they had the part for me and my scheduled appointment it called be 2 days before my appointment and said they need to cancel it since they no longer have my part in stock. When will you have the part in? They replied I dont know. Horrible service

Do Not Go To Camping World Nashville
DO NOT GO TO CAMPING WORLD NASHVILLE! Absolute poor service! They want to charge an hour and half for warranty service!!! We bought a couch in Kissimee that had a manufacture defect. We picked up the warranty in Nashville but they want to charge for installation which we didnt have too when we bought our furniture in Florida. Dan in Kissimee helped me bring in the furniture in the motorhome and only took us 5 minutes. Nashville is different story. They were not customer oriented. They were rude even their corporate representative from Tampa, Florida named BRENDA. She doesnt listen to customer explanation and stick to her 4 different stories told by the branch who was protecting their own butts and their lies. The branch in Rapid City, Dakota picked up the slack for Nashville. Mike, the retail person was absolutely helpful! I will rate Kissimee Branch and Rapid City

Avondale Az Camping World
I purchased a Thor motorcoach in January 2013 from Avondale CW.A new unit which had so many problems I had to return it for repairs 4 different times, one of which was for 8 days. Over this three month period I was assured that everything would be corrected. We are leaving AZ next week and the problems have not been corrected. There was to be another date to fix the remaining troubles and the parts for that repair were to arrive on April 2. Today is the 13th and the parts have not arrived and no date has been offered for the repairs to be made. Several of the needed repairs have been worked on before, water leaks, door adjustments, cabinet doors, window shades, etc, and are still waiting to be repaired. I now have to travel accross the country to get home and then find another facility to finish these repairs. The service is obviously not competant nor is there a desire by this business to do what is right. I have left messages and received no return calls on several occasions. This business is no place to go to have anything done. I’ve been three months trying and haven’t been given a reason for such delay. My hope is that we can get home without having to stop for repairs.
This Nightmare Started In Jan 2022
This nightmare started in jan 2022. When we went to a camping world store. We purchased a 2017 motorhome with 1970 miles. You’d think this store full of professionals and honesty. Not a chance. Sold my family a motorhome thats been nothing but a nightmare. The service is pathetic and incompetent and I wouldn’t let them tune up my wheel barrel. We are at 6 months and thousands of dollars and time in repairing a motorhome that was supposed to be ready to sell and be used. I will never ever buy nor suggest anyone walk into a camping world dealership. I will never suggest or buy from camping world online. The company is a joke.

We Tried To Purchase Two Life Jackets
We tried to purchase two life jackets when it came time to submit our credit card we have a gift certificate they couldn’t do it online we had they would have to email us and they would reimburse us or we could go to the store and they could do it right there which we drove gas being high and the temperature is so hot got to the store they wouldn’t honor they wouldn’t even take our order. Came home I was frustrating called them corporate office talked to Miss Emily she’s got her case open I was going to go ahead and reorder online and I talked to him Michael he said hold the line please never came back to me that is poor professionalism If you can’t honor gift certificates we’ll just use our money elsewhere and never come back to camping world. Needless say I do not care for their attitude or how they handle this today.

The benefits are great, they provide employee discounts for the stores, they are flexible with the workers like myself who have medical issues, always kind about taking days off for doctors appointments and procedures. They also try to promote from within, that it something I really respect as well.
Beware Of Ordering Online
I shopped online, selected a product, then backed out before clicking the submit button. I didn’t receive a confirmation notice to my email, but they sent a notice to my email this morning, telling me that the expensive, heavy product will be delivered tomorrow. I needed the item sooner than they could deliver and bought it elsewhere. They said too bad. They must be desperate, beware. I will have to pay return shipping. A confirmation email would have shocked me, but I could have cancelled at that point.
