Now Open: Grindstone Lake Campground
The Village of Ruidoso Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the opening of a new campground at Grindstone Lake. As part of continuing efforts to improve Ruidoso recreation areas, the campground offers 22 tent campsites and 6 sites for RVs and basic restrooms with running water, flushing toilets, sink, and shower. No reservations, campfires, or utilities.

The Bureau of Land Management will conduct prescribed fire operations beginning this week and lasting through May. The agency plans to burn approximately 1,400 acres throughout Chaves and eastern Lincoln counties and will take several days to complete. Smoke from the burn may be visible from nearby communities.
The Village of Ruidoso will perform system maintenance to servers and network equipment as part of the Village Hall construction project beginning at 1 PM Friday, March 25, 2022, and ending on the morning of Monday, March 28, 2022, Mountain Time Zone.
