Wolfes Neck Oceanfront Campground Maine
Camping in Maine doesnt get any better than the time you will spend at Wolfes Neck Oceanfront Campground. There are fewer RV sites than tenting sites, but there are still plenty to go around if you book your stay early enough. Acadia National Park is not too far from this campground and you can easily hike the trails to the mountain peaks or simply relax on the beach when you are visiting. There are quite a few hiking trails near the campground too, so you can get plenty of hikes in before your return home.

There is also a number of cabins on site, for those campers who arent quite willing to give up the comforts of the indoors. The campground is open Memorial Day through Labor Day and contains fishing, picnic, swimming and boating facilities, including canoe and kayak rentals.
Acadia National Park

Located on Mount Desert Island, surrounded by the chilly Atlantic waters off the central Maine coast, Acadia National Park offers world-class hiking on the islands mountain with dramatic views of the Maine coastline and encircling foliage. There are five different camping and hiking areas in the park, and choosing the right one for your trip depends on the experience you hope to have.

We couldnt find any legit beach camping spots in Connecticut, but we did find two nice state parks on the Long Island Sound. Both provide easy access to the beach and are perfect for families. Unfortunately, both are also extremely crowded during the summer months. Brighton State Park Vt
Brighton State Park in Island Pond, Vermont, is a traditional campground that shouldnt be overlooked. Vermont is known for its beauty, and staying at a campsite like the ones in Brighton State Park is the perfect way to explore it!
The campsites at this park are located right along Spectacle Pond. There are traditional campsites where you can pitch a tent, but there are also spots for RVs. In addition, you could rent a lean-to or a cabin if youd rather. Around the park, you can also go picnicking, hiking, or swimming.
