We stayed in a standard cabin and it was absolutely delightful! The cabin was big, clean, and we got to cook using a open fire. The views were amazing and the campground is very nice. I highly recommend this place especially if you’re going to see the falls. It’s really easy to get to the falls from the campground and it’s away from all the hustle in town.     AA Royal Motel and Campground is an RV camping site located outside of Buffalo. This campground has paved pull-through sites for RVs of varying sizes. They offer 30/50 amp power connectivity, as well as sewer and water hookups.

    This North Tonawanda campground is child and pet-friendly. There is a playground on-site for little ones, and there’s plenty of green space for everyone. Every campsite has access to restrooms and free hot showers. There’s also free WiFi for all guests, and there is a public phone available as well.

    Golden Hill State Park Barker

    Very few campsites can claim that it can offer a camping trip and a history lesson all rolled into one neat package like Golden Hill. This small, 58-campsite park is also located off NY Route 18 in Barker, NY.

    One of the unique things about camping here is the opportunity to camp in the Thirty-Mile Lighthouse, a facility that was used by the United States Coast Guard until the late 1950s. For $200 a night, and $1,250 a week, renters are treated to a more private camping setting, with a historic look but equipped with more modern amenities such as a full kitchen and a living room with an electric fireplace.

    There is also a museum which details the rich history of the park and the lighthouse, walking trails alongside Lake Ontario, and snowmobile trails during the winter months.
