Angels Camp Rv Park Location

Angels Camp RV Park is located just 10 minutes south of Angels Camp Town.

The roads getting to this area are pretty narrow and windy so use extra caution when driving. I was getting a bit sick driving on these windy roads and had to pull over to let my stomach settle. Thankfully nature out here is really beautiful so the drive overall was very enjoyable.

Angels Camp Rv Park: Staying & Camping In Rustic Cabins

Angels Camp RV Park is a wonderful RV resort in CentralCalifornia. Located in the small town of Angels Camp, this RV resort offers agreat camping experience for those visiting the surrounding area.

Within a few minutes drive from Angels Camp RV Park, you can reach nearby historic towns like Sonora, Jamestown, and Vallecito. This RV Parks central location was one of the main reasons why we decided to stay there.

Angels Camp RV Park offers a few different camping options: RV parking, cabins, and tent camping.

We were visiting Angels Camp in the winter so we booked oneof their rustic cabins for a weekend stay.

The great thing about staying at Angels Camp RV Park is that you still get to feel like youre camping but you can also indulge in some luxuries like taking a hot shower, hanging out by a fire pit and sleeping on a comfy bed at night.

Angels Camp Rv Park Cabins

Angels Camp RV Park has two types of cabins to choose from- smaller cabins and bigger lodges.

Theres only two of us so we stayed at one of their smaller cabins. The small cabins fit up to 4 people and come with one full-size bed and a bunk bed. The cabins themselves were tiny but since there were only two of us we felt cozy and comfortable.

The bigger lodges sleep up to 6 people, have two separate rooms and even come with their own private bathrooms and showers. But Angels Camp RV Park only has a couple of big lodges so they fill up quickly.

The Angels Camp RV Park cabins and lodges come with mattresses for the beds but you have to bring your own bedding like pillows, blankets, and sheets. Or you can make it easier and just bring sleeping bags instead which is what we did.

Each of the cabins comes with its own parking spot, patio with chairs for hanging out, a picnic table and a grill for making food or fire pit.

The cabins didnt have much inside besides a small space heater, a fan and a broom for sweeping. They dont come with a fridge or a coffee maker.

If you plan to bring your own food for cooking, treat your stay like a regular campsite and dont bring items that need to be refrigerated. If you plan to cook, youll need to bring your own pans, pots, plates, kitchen utensils, etc.

There was a big common area outside with grills, sinks, and tables for cooking but I didnt see anyone using it during our stay.

It Was Very Dog Friendly

Angels Camp RV Camping Resort

The best part of all, Angels Camp RV Park was very dog friendly. We brought our 6-month-old puppy Quito with us and at first, we were a bit unsure about how he would do away from home.

He ended up having a blast on this trip and returned home very happy and tired.

Dragoon Gulch Trail

Angels Camp RV Park is very considerate of our four-legged friends and even has two dog parks on-premises one for smaller doggies and one for larger ones like ours.

Angels Camp RV Parks dog area was big in size and came setup with a few obstacle courses, water and lots of doggie bags.

Before leaving our cabin for activities or restaurants we wouldspend an hour at the dog park until our puppy got tired.

Overall this entire region was very dog friendly and most places let us bring our dog with us.
