A lake is open to private boats with a 10 horsepower limit. Your pup will enjoy the smell of campfires and cookouts in the parks dog-friendly campground.

This small camp ground is a short drive from Helen, and it has easy access to the main road. We have used both the campground in a class C and the cabins. The campground is very well equipped with decks, gravel near the site, picnic tables, and fire pits. The owners allow you to buy firewood for the fire pit. There is also a bath house with restrooms and showers. The campground itself is small with a wonderful community vibe.The cabins are pet friendly and have a spectacular view. They are nicely appointed with a kitchen that has all the basics for cooking and coffee in the morning. There is also cable and wifi in the cabins. We have never used the jacuzzi tub, but it is huge.Don’t let the size of the camp fool you. There are still a lot of things to do. There is horse shoes, volley ball, and a special events room with video games and grilling area. The owners are very hospitable and accommodating.In the area, there is Helen and Sautee that both have quaint shops. There are also a lot of wineries, such as Yonah and Habersham, in the area. There are also a lot of outdoor activities like hiking, tubing, zip lining, fishing, gold mining, golfing, and ATVs.More
