Beautiful covered picnic tables. Roomy sites on a great little lake. Fire pit & separate grill provided. Bath house is adequate but not fancy. The one i used was UNHEATED. Park is gorgeous & has extensive hiking trails.

Always one of my favorites..I really like the Army Corps of engineers campgrounds, though the host’s can be a pain. I think sometimes they act like they are saving spaces for their friends. Today we stopped for 1 night with no reservations, it’s the middle of the week, and they act like it’s a big deal, so we get in our space and there’s hardly anyone here, maybe 10 percent full.

|GREAT PLACE, Close to Austin Activities!

As most are, this COE Park is well laid out and very nice. Our 41 foot motorhome fit just fine in all spots. Stayed 2 weeks while visiting family in Roundrock. Totally full on the weekend, but nice and quiet during the week. We will stay here every time we come to Austin.

Our first time to this park and really enjoyed it. Some of the spots aren’t level so had a bit of a hard time leveling my 5th wheel but the trees and camp ground is very nice. Each spot has its own covered picnic table and most of them over look the lake. Gate staff are pretty friendly. Will def be back.

Always a nice park to stay at. Weekend was perfect and this time there was no burn ban so perfect night for a fire. Bathrooms are clean and spots are very nice.

When the rule to shelter in place appeared I took it seriously because I am 75 years old. Jamica Beach RV park in Galveston graciously let me out of my contract of over a month. Galveston State Park who requires full payment up front and no refund after 24 hours also graciously refunded all my money which covered 2 month. I contacted Shady River RV Park and a guy named Pete said he would not give a refund of my deposit of over $250, for only one week. That is poor business practices and I would never consider booking with them ever again. I drove around their park after I was refused a refund and discovered their parking spaces are very close together.
