Camping World Working On Resolution For Holiday Couple Whose Winnebago Was Stolen Off Lot
HOLIDAY, Fla. When Kevin and Beverly Hunts RV was stolen from Camping World in Holiday, and they couldnt get anywhere with the dealership, they contacted 8 on Your Side.
The Hunts say representatives from the company have now been in contact with them, but the contact hasnt been entirely positive.
Beverly Hunt says she is dumbfounded.
The last comment we got was, you are trying to take advantage of the situation. Contact your insurance company,’ she said.
Hunt wonders why, if the couples camper was stolen while Camping World had care and custody of the vehicle, her insurance company would be on the hook for damages?
In the back of the patrol car, troopers say he told them the stop sticks werent necessary.
You know you guys didnt have to throw out those spikes, Evans allegedly said. I was about to run out of gas.
When the Hunts finally got a look at their stolen home away from home it was trashed.
He smoked in it, there are cigarette butts everywhere, Beverly Hunt said. Theres a moldy piece of lasagna in the microwave, theres rotten food in the refrigerator, drug paraphernalia in the bedroom.
Camping World has now issued a statement on the situation.
Attorney and radio personality Dominic Fariello, believes Camping Worlds insurance carrier should foot the bill for damages.
Fariello adds, it may take time and a lot of patience.

bought a 2019 travel trailer 8/6/22 ,went in on 8/13/22 for walk thru,unit was hot as fire inside walk thru guy plugged it in, air didn’t seem to be working well,could not deploy awning was too close to an for walk thru,unit was hot as fire inside walk thru guy plugged it in, air didn’t seem to be working well,could not deploy awning was too close to another unit he said that’s ok it’ll be fine unit delivered 8/20/22, went inside to open awning and landing jacks collapsed and rv twisted sideways,wife thought we were gonna roll over.plugged unit in and ac will not remotely keep up, 93 degrees inside and 93 degrees out side,called service was told our extended warranty wont kick in for 45 days then after it does it will be at least 3-4 weeks more to get into shop,wish we had went some place else .they definitely don’t seem to care about customer service,now they wont answer calls to try and resolve problems,allegedly this is supposed to be camp ready.so disappointed.More
