Abilene State Park – Texas State Parks

This is a great camp. The officers at the RV check-in gate were friendly and helpful. The campsites are drive-through and spacious. The hookups are all in one spot. Several young families live on-site which I like to see. The bathrooms are clean and roomy. You cannot go through the main gate, but access is easy and well-paved. If you leave with your RV after hours, you will need to call security. Otherwise after unhooking you can go in and out of the main gate. You will like Dyess. TJ, Google Review

Really nice campground. The owners are very nice and will work with you any which way they can. At first, I couldnt fit into a slot, Mrs. Debbie called all the local campgrounds to see if they could accommodate me. With no luck in finding a spot it just so happened an RV pulled out earlier than expected. I was able to get into a bigger a lot for my fifer. Both she and her husband are nice people. Very well-kept. Would most definitely recommend this park! Scott, Google Review

What People Are Saying About Windmill Rv Park

Very nice RV park. Most of the sites are pull-through and they are very long and wide enough for RVs with multiple slides. There are a few back-in sites on one edge of the park. The spaces are a nice size, plenty of room to put out your slides and awnings. All FHU sites, which is always nice. There are laundry facilities. There is only 1 bathroom/shower available and it is very clean. The shower is HUGE and walk-in, almost the size of a double shower with plenty of hot water. There is a small grocery store and they have the lowest gas prices in the area for both gas and diesel. Robert, Google Review
