The Campground was originally built, in the late 70s, for the great Knoxville Worlds Fair in 1982. The Fischers arrived in the spring of 1990 to a foreclosed, empty campground. With a vision, long hours, great campers, and money plowed back in, the campground began to take off. The park today is a totally rebuilt park with new wiring and pedestals for 90% of the sites. Our Laundry, Bath House, and General Store were also remodeled and now boast central heat and air, plus endless hot water.
