Niagara Falls Campground And Lodging

One of the closest of all the campgrounds on this list to Niagara Falls State Park, Niagara Falls Campground, and Lodging can be found just six miles from the thundering falls. This campground offers over 80 campsites, and most of these sites can accommodate RVs or tents.

The campground also includes a pool, a small playground, and a full-service tour center where families and tourists can get the latest information on all of the local attractions and daily excursions that are available in and around Niagara Falls State Park, such as the Hornblower Niagara Cruises Voyage to the Falls Tour.

This 20-minute tour offers a close-up view of the American and Horseshoe falls as well as the amazing Great Gorge. The tour is accompanied by an audio commentary and includes access to the Hornblower Niagara Funicular for panoramic views of the falls.

You will need to wear the ponchos provided by the company because you will definitely get wet. Tours depart every 15 to 30 minutes throughout the day with evening options from mid-May through mid-October. Tickets start at about $23 for adults and about $15 for children ages 5 to 12. The ride is free for children 4 and younger. The company also offers a special fall fireworks cruise.

Located on the bay side of the campground, they are a short five minute walk to the beach. Monarchs Rest and Turtle Dunes Campgrounds offer some electrical sites that are able to accommodate a variety of equipment. The premium campsites, located in the dunes at the ends of the loops closest to the beach, offer a soft sandy base. The Old Park section of Long Point includes Cottonwood Campground, a radio-free campground. The sites can accommodate a variety of equipment sizes. Premium campsites are located at the ends of the loops and are very close to the beach.Swimming: Large, sandy beaches are located by Monarchs Rest and Turtle Dunes Campground and the Day-Use are in the New Park as well as Cottonwood Campground in the Old Park. Niagara Falls Grand Island Koa

This spectacular Niagara Falls camping destination is located just seven miles from the falls. The KOA includes a variety of kid-friendly amenities, including a two heated pools, a playground, and the ever-popular inflatable jumping pad. Niagara Falls Grand Island offers both pull-thru and back-in RV sites with 30 & 50 amps electricity along with full hookups. Tent campers have the option of selecting a site with water and electric, water only, or no hookups.

The well-connected staff at this KOA offer tour packages to Niagara Falls as well as transportation and ticketing information for several nearby attractions, including Martins Fantasy Land or the surrounding state parks.

There are 26 pull through campsites a number of which will accommodate larger trailers and motorhomes.Swimming: Great 2km beach in the village of Turkey Point shallow, buoyed swimming, great for kids. The beach is very sandy and safe for swimmers, especially children. The water is generally warm with a sandy bottom and there is no undertow.Hiking: Fin & Feather Trail 4.0 km, medium. Begin at the north end of the Fin & Feather Campground and hike along the old hatchery pond to the Normandale Fish Hatchery, around to the north boundary of the park and then retrace the trail back into the park. Oak Savanna Trail 1.0 km, easy. This trail is located just east of the Whippoorwill Campground and takes you through an area of plantation and naturally forested areas that have had controlled fires to return the area to a natural oak and pine forest cover. Located just between Niagara Falls and Buffalo , the Branches of Niagara Campground offers 80 campsites and a whopping 15 cabins for visitors eager to explore upstate New York. Every site comes with electric hook-ups and are in close proximity to the bathrooms and central laundry facility.

Other amenities include three different pools, a mini golf course, and a playground, brand new as of 2019! This campground is especially great for families with children, as it sits just minutes from Fantasy Land, a popular amusement park in the area. Take a visit to the falls then drop by the park to make your upstate NY vacation complete!

Bronte Creek Provincial Park

1219 Burloak Drive, OakvilleCamping: Bronte Creek offers car camping in all four of the campground loops. The Prairie loop is designed to accommodate larger RVs but will easily accommodate smaller trailers or tents as well. The Savannah, Woodlands and Ravine Loops are ideal for smaller trailers < 25 ft and tent camping. All campsites have electrical hook up for each campsite. Bronte Creek offers three yurts for rent. All three are located in the Savannah Loop which is designated as radio free.Swimming: Bronte Creek Provincial Park is home to one of Canadas largest outdoor pools. This 1.8 acre pool is located at the Recreation Complex in the Day-Use area. The pool is a large pond shape that is designed for wading with a starting depth of mere centimeters, gradually deepening to 2 m in the center. Lifeguards are on duty.
