I had the privilege of attending a training session led by Mr. William Heinrich, the dealerships General Manager. The entire sales staff learned from Mr. Heinrich that RV OWNERS ARE STUPID!
Mr. Heinrich is the person who has been charged with increasing RV sales for Camping World in New Braunfels. Therefore, his sales staff is basically taught that anyone walking through the front door you and your family for instance should be considered stupid and treated as such. Further proof that you may want to reconsider doing business with Camping World.

West of San Antonio in the heart of the Hill Country, the Boulderdash Cabin and RV Park is a simple, family-run operation with generously sized cabin and RV sites. Best of all, its close to Banderaa little town outside of San Antonio that calls itself the Cowboy Capital of the World. Stop for a drink and a bite at the famous Cowboy Bar, the biggest little bar in Texas.
If you come at the right time of year, you can even participate in Cowboy Mardi Gras, when the whole town is taken over by cajun food, zydeco, and horses festooned with mardi gras beads. Camp close by at Boulderdash and you wont miss a minute of the dog costume contest or the epic parade floats. And with sites starting at $15 a night, youll have plenty of cash left over for Cowboy Bars famous steak nights!

Lost Maples Natural Area
The Lost Maples Natural Area is a United States National Forest in the Texas Hill Country 90 miles west of San Antonio, TX.
The area has been called the most beautiful spot in Texas by writers like Roy Bedichek, author of Adventures with a Texas Naturalist.
Lost Maples is a very basic, budget-friendly camping experience with easy access to waterfalls and trails, this is an excellent option! There are also cabins, RV sites, and tent sites available, so theres something for everyone.
The upside is the beautiful foliage that the park possesses. If you camp here in the fall you will experience the leaves changing colors like nowhere else in Texas.

Top Hiking In Texas Hill Country For San Antonio Glamping
Of course, the water is not the only source of outdoor fun to be had in Hill Country and around San Antonio. Hiking is another great way to explore the area, and with the diversity of trails to be found, everyone is sure to find a hike perfect for their abilities. For example, Colorado Bend State Park, Pedernales Falls State Park, and Garner State Park have a range of trails that crisscross each park, offering scenic vantage points through all different types of scenery. Another favorite of ours is the Barton Creek Greenbelt just outside of Austin, with miles of hiking and mountain biking trails with terrain ranging from flat to fairly elevated. Lost Maples State Natural Area is a 2,174 acre park located in the Sabinal River Canyon. This is a must-see from mid-October through mid-November, when the Uvalde Bigtooth Maple trees are on full display with their gorgeous fall foliage. Still yet, the Hill Country Natural Area has over 40 miles of multi-use trails for hikes and mountain biking, including an easy and flat 2.5-mile trail. Horseback riding is also allowed in the park if you are interested in riding a horse, you can rent one from one of the liveries in Bandera or bring your own. With the wide variety of trails and paths in the area, everyone is sure to have a great time exploring this beautiful landscape.
