North Riverside Park is a quiet spot with access to the Kings River. It is located just below the Pine Flat Dam and is known mainly for fishing.
Facilities here are limited there are a few picnic tables, a restroom, and a small parking lot. This may be uninviting to some, but this means there are no crowds, which is the spots biggest advantage.
Its an excellent place to play with a kayak, fish, or go for a dip when the flow is not too strong. In addition, there is a maintained nature trail that runs along the river offering charming views and wildlife spotting opportunities.

Pine Flat Lake Camping

Pine Flat Lake is operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers, who also maintain Island Park Campgroundat the lake. The corps reopened Trimmer Campground in 2011.
Other campgrounds are operated by the Fresno County Parks Department and by the US Forest Service.All campgrounds offer RV and tent camping. In addition, there are some group campgrounds, two at Island Park Campground, one at Kirch Flat, and another at Choinumni Campground.

The Safety Of Our Families And Staff Is Our Top Priority
As we take enrollments for our Day Camp program serving elementary school children, all staff go through extensive training on health and safety practices weve developed to meet and exceed State and Local standards.
We continue to work closely with our local health advisors and follow CDC guidelines on protocols for our area.
Stay home if sick. If you or your child has felt unwell, or displayed signs of COVID-19, we ask that all household members stay home until theyve been symptom-free without medication for at least 72 hours. Camp will be open to well individuals only.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
Drive Through: During the check-in process, parents will remain in the car and drive through designated check-in locations for a seemless process.
Temperature checks: All staff will be asked to take their own temperature each day upon arrival and must be fever-free before entering the facility. When parents arrive at check-in, well take their campers temperature with a no-touch thermometer.
Health screenings: Parents and staff will answer some health screening questions at drop-off, and we will monitor staff and camper health throughout the day.
Transportation: We can offer school bus transportation from the Clovis area for an additional fee. If you would like to enroll your child, but are unable to transport them to and from camp, we encourage you to call and speak with a team member to discuss transportation options.
