LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill.-Camping World Holdings, Inc. , the nations largest network of RV-centric retail locations, announced that an agreement has been signed to acquire Cullum & Maxey Camping Center located in Nashville, Tennessee.
For over 60 years, Cullum & Maxey Camping Center has earned its customers business by providing quality products and service backed with a highly experienced team and reliable RV care, said Marcus Lemonis, Chairman of Camping World. Attention to details and has made Cullum & Maxey a leader in the RV industry and we look forward to the entire team joining our network of RV SuperCenters.
The acquisition of Cullum & Maxey Camping Center is in line with Camping Worlds future growth plans and the company expects to soon announce several additional markets of expansion throughout the country in 2018.

Racing on dirt isnt necessarily new to the Truck Series, which competed at Bristol this spring and held seven races on the famed Eldora Raceway from 2013-19. This weeks new venue renowned as the Sprint Car Capital of the World and host of the summers Knoxville Nationals creates a fresh challenge for the Truck Series drivers and has definitely become a popular venture as far as fans are concerned.
NASCAR Cup Series driver earlier this season with full-time series championship competitors Ben Rhodes finishing runner-up and Todd Gilliland finishing fourth. Current championship leader, five-race winner John Hunter Nemechek finished 39th on the Bristol dirt track, crashing out after completing only 48 laps.
Nemechek, 24, arrives in Knoxville riding a career year in NASCAR competition. He won the last truck race two weeks ago in Pocono to extend his series-best victory total to five. Hes won three of the last four races , has led laps in 11 of the seasons 13 races and his 485 total laps out front is more than double that of any other full-time series competitor. Nemechek has a series-high eight top-five and 11 top-10 finishes in the No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota.

Srx Racing Series To Make Return To Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway July 9
Nashville, TN The Camping World SRX Series and its cast of auto racing superstars return to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday, July 9th for a huge night of racing action. SRX will be joined by the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour for the 10th Running of the Rackley Roofing Masters of the Pros 150 Pro Late Model race.
Last year, NASCAR Cup Series Champion Chase Elliott found himself in Nashville Fairgrounds Speedways Winners Circle. This season, 13 Superstars from various disciplines of auto racing will compete in the SRX race at Nashville. From the NASCAR Cup Series Tony Stewart, Bobby Labonte, Michael Waltrip, Ryan Newman, Matt Kenseth, and Greg Biffle. From IndyCar Helio Castroneves, Josef Newgarden, Tony Kanaan, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Paul Tracy, and Marco Andretti. From the short-tracks Cole Williams.
Williams is a two-time Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Late Model Champion. When he won his second Championship in 2016, he joined the likes of Darrell Waltrip, CooCoo Marlin, Sterling Marlin, Bobby Hamilton, Joe Buford, Chad Chaffin, and Mike Alexander as multi-time Late Model Track Champions at the historic Fairgrounds Speedway. Cole Williams earned his SRX ride by winning a fan vote in the spring.

Soaring Eagle Campground has been operated by the Fischer family for 24 years. Our family, as well as our employees, take great pride to serve our campers with a welcoming, clean and convenient family campground open year round in the Knoxville, TN area.
The Campground was originally built, in the late 70s, for the great Knoxville Worlds Fair in 1982. The Fischers arrived in the spring of 1990 to a foreclosed, empty campground. With a vision, long hours, great campers, and money plowed back in, the campground began to take off. The park today is a totally rebuilt park with new wiring and pedestals for 90% of the sites. Our Laundry, Bath House, and General Store were also remodeled and now boast central heat and air, plus endless hot water. Other amenities include free WiFi for most campsites, multiple picnic areas, and salt water swimming pool.
While our improved facilities are a great asset, we think the traveling public likes our customer service even more. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable, safe and enjoyable stay with us.
