In addition to space for tents and RVs, Turkey Swamp Park has three cabins containing bunk beds and electricity that campers can rent. Outside of each of the cabins is a fire pit for outside cooking. Located near Freehold, New Jersey, this campground offers nine miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Hiering Avenue Beach is located in the bustling town of Seaside Heights.
Each year, Seaside Heights offers all-ages oceanfront camping on specific dates during the summer months. Most of these dates are free, but you will have to pay for the final night thats usually at the end of August. You can buy tickets online, priced at around $6.27 per person, including all fees.

Campers to this campground can visit the Allaire Village where people dressed in period-clothing give demonstrations on how people in this region lived in the 1800s. One of the only parks in New Jersey that permits wilderness camping, Round Valley Reservoir is an excellent destination for anyone interested in fishing, hiking, hunting, and scuba diving. There are 85 peaceful wilderness campsites that can only be accessed by boat or by foot vehicles and trailers are not permitted. All sites are equipped with a fire ring, and pit toilets and drinking water can be found within easy walking distance. The campsites are open between the beginning of April and the end of October, and campers are required to check in no later than 4 p.m.
