This is by far the most luxurious resort we have ever stayed in. The amenities are numerous, with 2 large pools, 2 large hot tubs and a 2 story clubhouse like none youve seen. You could say we are “charter members” as the resort just opened and we are the first ones ever to have this particular site, and some construction is still going on. Everything they do here is top-notch… and the staff is all incredibly friendly. We also like the location with easy access to interstates, beaches, Anna Maria Island, shopping and more. Yankee Traveler RV Park is a 55-and-older gated community set in the middle of the Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg area. This park is only minutes from the beach and is close enough to the highway that visiting family members can find it easily, but its not so close that noise pollution is an issue. They offer some of the best RV camping in Clearwater, Florida for retirees and snowbirds.

Near Marathon, FL, the motto for Curry Hammock State Park is Unhurried, Untouched, and Unrivaled. Thats why it is one of the best Florida beach RV campgrounds. It sits halfway between Key Largo and Key West and is 1,000-acres in size. It is the largest uninhabited parcel of land between Key Largo and Big Pine Key.

This is a smaller campground, with 25 sites situated in a loop. But if you can get in, you are in paradise.

Pets are welcome at the campground, but not on the beach. All sites have electric-water hookups and each as a picnic table and grill. There is potable water, flush toilets and showers, a playground for the kids, and a dump station.

This park is a favorite for kayakers and paddleboarders.
